Probiotics & Digestive Issues

TUMMY TROUBLE???
abdominal-painDo you have tummy trouble aka digestive issues? Bloating, gas, rumbling, pain or a frequent upset stomach to name a few. A day doesn’t go by that I’m not seeing posts in my newsfeed or talking to clients about certain foods that “don’t agree with them”.

You might think I would tell these people to eliminate said food or to run out and buy a Probiotic. We hear it over and over again on TV, especially during yogurt commercials, that gut health is important to overall health and can play a huge role in weight loss. But what most people don’t know is that all probiotics are not created equal.

I need Bacillus Coagulans! The problem is this; if your probiotic is not majorly encapsulated against stomach acid and bile then it’s basically worthless. So that Activia commercial that sucked you into believing you would be, ahem, “regular” is basically a load of poop (no pun intended). 😊

Lucky for us, there is one superstar probiotic that does survive the nasty acids in the stomach and makes it to your intestines where it actually reproduces and sets up shop!! Dope isn’t it? Want to know what it is? It’s called Bacillus Coagulans. I have to mention I have this digestive diva daily in my Shakeology.

This is one of many reasons why I strongly recommend drinking a daily does of Shakeology. This will keep your tummy environment nice and happy. This is not a cheap probiotic –  but when it comes to my health, I’m willing to invest in the best. Go ahead and try to find it in other probiotics on the market. My guess is your search will come up with very few finds.

Bacillus Coagulans are very unique due to their survivability, colonization and lactic acid production. If you really want to nerd out on this stuff, check out this article. Optimize Digestive Health.

Now when you want to get your hands on some encapsulated Bacillus Coagulans, order yourself the healthiest meal of the day, Shakeology and then report back to me on how you are feeling after you’ve had it for one month!! I can bet your GUT will be giddy and not gassy!
